SHOTSTOPPERS

Welcome to the new and improved website for all devotees, both male and female, of the specialist art of soccer Goalkeeper. My name is Rob Flowers (Theres more about me if you click on the "History" link) and I run this site as an information tool for my courses aimed at all of you who are current or prospective participants in Football and who are interested in improving both their ability and understanding of the demands of your chosen position.

There is a definite cycle to this learning curve ,in that with improved ability and understanding comes a greater enjoyment and thus a further need to improve and enhance that enjoyment .

You wont need me to point out that Goalkeeper is probably the hardest position on the pitch, every one will remember your mistakes and there is nowhere to hide. Most ill-informed people will tell you that games are won by the goal scorers and although there is merit in this argument you and I both know and it cannot be understated that a good 'keeper' is just as important, because ultimately, this is where games are SEEN to be lost.

Well quite a lot actually, Shotstoppers is an award course with 'Keepers' advancing (on merit) through certificated levels beginning with Bronze and advancing to Silver and Gold etc on to intermediate and advanced

Not only will all keepers receive expert coaching from an FA/UEFA coaching team but every course participant will be assessed and awarded a certificate and wallet badge denoting his/her achievement. On every course participants will also receive the current item of Shotstoppers merchandise
